ABOUT: All members of The Infamous Stringdusters, the GRAMMY® Award-winning quintet, Chris Pandolfi [banjo], Andy Hall [dobro] and Jeremy Garrett [fiddle] partner in this intimate trio arrangement.
The Infamous Stringdusters broke onto the national scene in 2007, scooping up 3 International Bluegrass Music Association awards, including Album and Song of the Year. Since then, the group has become a national ambassador for progressive bluegrass, playing to club, theater and festival audiences around the country.
“Bluegrass is its own world, filled with incredible musicianship and a short but vibrant history of crazy characters, trends and changes,” says Chris Pandolfi.
The trio will bring to the stage their expressive patchwork of All-American bluegrass threaded together with strands of rock, jazz, funk, country, old-time, and more.
Chris Pandolfi is not only a musician but also a producer, podcaster, writer and all-around creative based in Denver, Colorado. He was the first-ever banjo principal at the Berklee College of Music before moving to Nashville. “We strive to make good original music, explore the world and enjoy life” – Chris Pandolfi. Chris has just released an innovative new solo project featuring cutting edge sounds and virtuosic playing entitled ‘Trance Banjo.’
Andy Hall a true bluegrass master, dobro and vocalist for the GRAMMY-award winning band the Infamous Stringdusters. Most recently, Andy was nominated for a 2020 International Bluegrass Music Award for Best Resophonic Guitar player. Andy has shared the stage and recorded with a wide range of artists including Dolly Parton, Wynona, Emmylou Harris, Earl Scruggs, Ryan Adams, Zack Brown, Charlie Daniels, Jack Black, Rodney Crowell and many others.
Jeremy Garrett is known as an innovative fiddle player, expressive singer and soul-searching songwriter for The Infamous Stringdusters. To the fans of the Stringdusters Jeremy is known as “G-Grass” or “Freedom Cobra” for his dynamic stage presence. Jeremy has a broad catalog of originally crafted songs.
