Winner of Chamber Music America’s prestigious Cleveland Quartet Award, the “vibrant” (New York Times) Verona Quartet performs a poignant hidden gem by Puccini, and the opening work in one of the greatest cycles of music in all of Western Classical music. Bravo! Vail Artistic Director Anne-Marie McDermott joins for an exuberant, virtuosic piano quintet, a stunning achievement for the precocious composer who was just 18 when it premiered.
