The first piano duo recipients of Avery Fisher Career Grants, the Naughton sisters bring “esoteric unity … in a way only identical twins can” (Revue Magazine). This electrifying program is filled with theatrical flourishes and dazzling colors, featuring rollicking tunes from Bernstein, a tour de force by Brahms, and Ravel’s extraordinary La Valse, which he imagined as the “mad whirl of some fantastic and fateful carousel.”

This series includes Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble (June 29), Two Pianos Four Hands (July 13), New York Philharmonic String Quartet (July 20) and Han & Finckel In Concert (August 4).
