Storytelling Saves Lives | SpeakUp ReachOut is proud to present the 3rd This Is My Brave – The Show showcasing local stories of recovery to bring HOPE to those who may be dealing with similar challenges. Performances will feature community members who live with – or have loved ones living with – mental health challenges, substance use disorders, or suicidal ideation, telling their stories through personal essay, spoken word, poetry, comedy, original music, and dance.
Local cast members, selected after a series of auditions, will ultimately perform live on the Vilar Performing Arts Center stage in Beaver Creek. Meet our 2025 Brave Storytellers!
This Is My Brave is a movement to normalize talking about our struggles and sharing our healing journeys. You’ll walk away inspired by this amazing cast of storytellers who are bravely breaking down barriers to end stigma!
