Midori & Festival Strings Lucerne Perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto

A new work by Swiss composer Helena Winkelman offers a fresh, compelling voice, bridging past and present. The program concludes with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, a composition of youthful exuberance and joyful defiance, written at a turning point in the composer’s life.
