Grateful Shred

Los Angeles-based Grateful Shred puts a fresh spin on the Grateful Dead with laid-back grooves, three-part harmonies, wide-open guitars and plenty of psychedelic jams. The band shot to prominence after their 2017 “Busted at the Bowl” video captured an impromptu parking lot performance before a Dead & Company show at the Hollywood Bowl. Since then, they’ve grown into a national touring act, channeling the spirit of the Dead while bringing their own warmth, energy and freewheeling style to the music.

Grateful Shred is: Austin McCutchen (vocals and guitar), Dan Horne (bass, pedal steel, vocals), Mikaela Davis (vocals), Adam MacDougall (keys and vocals), John Lee Shannon (guitar), Corey Rose (drums).
