Details

The Vilar is thrilled to welcome Los Angeles–based Norteño and Mexican music trio Carlos y Charlos at 6:00PM on Thursday, September 10th for a free, family-friendly concert on the lawn at Brush Creek Pavilion in Eagle, Colorado!

ABOUT CARLOS Y CHARLOS: Carlos y Charlos are two Los Angeles county born multi-instrumentalists, Juan Carlos Reynoso (bajo sexto, first voice) and Charles De Castro (diatonic accordion, 2nd voice) who initially came together to play just for fun, the songs they love from idols of Norteño like Los Alegres de Terán and Carlos y José to Texas accordion legends like Santiago Jimenez Sr. and Narciso Martinez. Their blend of traditional polkas, waltzes and classic norteño repertoire seemed to light up a party and cheer people up.

Soon they found themselves in demand for all types of cultural events in and around So Cal. Adding their longtime friend and fellow music partner Patrick Morrison on Tololoche, they now continue to grow their audience. From 2023-2024 they had the privilege of touring and opening for artists such as La Santa Cecilia, Manny Tololoche, La Lom , Son Rompe Pera and Very Be Careful. Playing for bigger audiences all over California, Arizona, Tijuana and Mexico City.

In 2025 they performed to an enthusiastic sold out crowd at the Freight in Berkeley CA.  Later returning headline their successful shows in the Bay Area, Los Angeles and Detroit. In addition to their busy concert schedule they released a two song 45 record called Alta California and  released 3 separate singles on all streaming platforms.  Their first full length live album entitled En Vivo En El Eastside Luv is set to hit all streaming platform services in Spring of 2026. Along with other singles coming out in 2026.

As their popularity grows, Carlos y Charlos continue to make the party happen while staying true to the old style music that keeps fans of Norteño and Mexican music coming back for more.
