The Vilar is giving every Eagle County School District (ECSD) teacher the opportunity to redeem a free Love for the Locals Fall Pass this fall season. The 2026 pass includes a ticket to all five fall shows plus a complimentary drink at each performance. The offer covers teachers, administrators, and support staff across the district.
The idea came out of a conversation among the Vilar’s team about how much the district’s educators and staff give to the community every day. “We wanted to find a way to say thank you to the local folks who give so much of their time providing education to our youth,” said Harry Jaffe, Arts Education and Community Engagement Manager at the Vilar.
The gesture is an extension of the Vilar’s Community Arts Access (CAA) program, which works to connect Eagle County residents with the performing arts through free and discounted tickets. CAA partners with local community organizations to distribute tickets to people who might not otherwise have the chance to attend. The program recently expanded to include a lottery system, opening applications to Eagle River Valley locals for select performances at the Vilar, Vail Dance Festival, and Amp Summer Concerts at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater.
